Job summary

Nitricity is seeking a Fertilizer Production Technician II for our Delhi, California plant. The role involves operating and maintaining equipment for on-site nitrogen fertilizer production, with a rotating 4-on/2-off schedule and 12-hour shifts.

Night shift duration is estimated at 3 months, transitioning to day shift as the facility starts up. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with 4–6 years in process/chemical/fertilizer production or an AA/AS with 2–4 years in engineering or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 4–6 years of experience in process, chemical, or fertilizer production; or an AA/AS plus 2–4 years of experience in engineering, physics, mechanics, electrical systems, or a related field. CDL or related certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and maintain reactors, pumps, tanks, blenders, and absorbers safely.
• Monitor and adjust reactor parameters for smooth operations.
• Perform water chemistry analysis and adjust chemical feeds accordingly.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and calibrations on plant systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct basic product tests and inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Keep accurate records of production, maintenance, and safety checks.
• Collaborate with engineers and R&D teams to improve processes.
