Job summary

US Fertility in San Ramon, California is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. This role supports patient care through phlebotomy, room preparation, and documentation, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional holidays.

You will perform a high volume of phlebotomy, manage lab supplies, assist with ultrasound procedures, take vitals, and educate patients.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal MA or Phlebotomy program preferred.
• Minimum of one year of MA experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with medical terminology.
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to the proper labs.
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records.
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels.
• Assist physician or ultrasound technician with procedures.
• Assist with HSGs as needed.
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
• Provide patient education and communicate physician orders.
