US Fertility in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for an on-site, part-time schedule. The role focuses on high-volume phlebotomy, clinical support for fertility patients, and accurate lab processing. You will work with the Shady Grove Fertility network to deliver compassionate care.

The successful candidate will have a formal MA program and healthcare experience, with strong communication, organization, and data-entry skills to support procedures and patient education.

Qualificações

• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy and speed required.
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Perform high volume of phlebotomy
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and follow physician orders
• Provide pre and post op education
• Perform semen washes and set up for IUIs
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families
• Work independently to ensure program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service
