Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Previous medical assistant experience preferred; fertility, OB/GYN, or reproductive medicine experience is a plus.
• Experience with injections and other clinical procedures preferred.
• Strong computer and electronic medical record skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for procedures.
• Assist providers with patient examinations and treatments.
• Take vital signs and update medical information in EMR.
• Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Answer phone calls.
• Update and maintain patient medical records.
• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
• Follow protocols and privacy regulations (HIPAA).
