Job summary

Shady Grove Fertility in Annapolis, Maryland, is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for an on-site, part-time role with Saturday/Sunday coverage from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM at US Fertility locations. The role offers growth within a nationally recognized fertility network and involves direct patient support, phlebotomy, and assistance in clinical care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal MA program is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail with data entry and comfort with computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform high volume phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for blood drawing stations.
• Assist with clinical care of fertility patients.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Provide patient/couple counseling and instruction on procedures.
• Provide pre and post op education.
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
• Enter labs and print labels in the computer system.
• Establish a compassionate environment and support patients and families.
• Work independently to support program goals and customer service excellence.
