Job summary

US Fertility in Memorial City, Texas is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to manage patient accounts, scheduling, and benefit discussions while delivering exceptional customer service. The role supports a large network of physicians and strives to improve the patient experience in a fast-paced medical office.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn, with familiarity in medical billing systems and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years previous experience in an administrative role; medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical software, terminology and procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to build and facilitate good working relationships with staff at all levels of organization
• Demonstrated ability with exercising sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and within deadlines
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Tech savvy
• Flexibility and willingness to learn at all times

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information
• Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by assessing minimum patient needs and scheduling accordingly
• Schedule appointments
• Address customer/patient issues and insure effective short-term and long-term resolution
• Provide timely feedback to the practice regarding service failures or patient concerns
• Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage and financial options
• Greet patients and visitors to the office and providing high level of customer service
• Required to work occasional weekends and holiday
