County of Frontenac is seeking a Permanent Full-time Manager of Marine Services to lead the Frontenac Howe Island Ferry operations. You will drive safety, service quality, and community engagement while contributing to strategic planning and organizational values.

The role requires a Diploma in Business Management or equivalent, Transport and radio licenses, and a minimum of 3 years supervising staff in a unionized environment. An asset: ferry operations experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Management or equivalent program.
• Department of Transport Certificate, Master of Ferry Steamship, Radio Telephone restricted license, an asset.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in supervision of staff in a unionized environment.
• Experience in Ferry operations, an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the Frontenac Howe Island Ferry with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliable customer service.
• Provide strong leadership, innovation, and strategic input in Marine Services.
• Represent the department in the community and uphold the organization's mission, vision and values.
