Job summary

Four Seasons Maui seeks a Ferraro’s Server to provide exceptional knowledge of our menu and guest service within the Food & Beverage division. The role reports to Ferraro’s Management Team and requires authorization to work in the United States at application time.

The position involves describing menu items vividly, coordinating orders via the hotel POS, and ensuring timely service while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years food & beverage service or related work.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card.
• Tuberculosis Clearance.
• ServSafe (within 3 months)

Responsibilities

• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests with vivid descriptions; communicate guest orders to the kitchen using the hotel’s POS system; coordinate food timings; check completed orders with the original; transport items to the guest table.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions; respond to guest concerns and requests.

Ferraro’s Server

Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division, reporting to the Ferraro’s Management Team. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
