Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Ferraro’s Host to greet and seat guests, coordinate reservations, and respond to inquiries with courteous, professional service. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division reporting to Ferraro’s Management Team.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Responsibilities include seating guests promptly, maintaining the host station, handling the reservation book, and answering calls to assist guests with information on restaurant and hotel

Qualifications

• Minimum one year food & beverage service or related work.
• Requires knowledge of restaurant services, policies or operations and general knowledge of the hotel.
• Must be able to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests while coordinating guest reservations. Respond to inquiries efficiently and courteously to maximize satisfaction.
• Seat guests promptly and manage host/hostess station and room setup to Four Seasons standards.
• Answer phone calls per Four Seasons standards and take reservations or provide information about services.

Ferraro’s Host

Greet and seat guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. This role is part of the Food Beverage Division, reporting to the Ferraro’s Management Team. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Seat guests promptly at a table pre‑set for the number in the party and according to guest preference.
• Set up host/hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set‑up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards.
• Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum one year food & beverage service or related work.
• Requires a working knowledge of the restaurant aspect of Four Seasons services, policies or operations and general knowledge of the hotel. Working knowledge is generally learned on‑the‑job.
• Requires knowledge or the ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Tuberculosis Clearance
