Job summary

BioMADE in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Process Engineer to translate client fermentation requirements into operational procedures and batch documentation. You will interface with projects, shift supervisors, and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient production campaigns at our Maple Grove pilot plant.

The role emphasizes downstream processing and purification coordination, with a focus on zero-harm safety culture and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical/biochemical/bioprocess engineering or related field.
• 5+ years as a process engineer in fermentation/bioprocess environments.
• Experience in technology transfer, process development, or production support.

Responsibilities

• Translate client technology transfer packages into executable production processes.
• Create batch records, batch recipes, SOPs, and process control parameters.
• Train operators and provide guidance to ensure safe, effective production campaigns.
• Prepare process summaries and data packages for clients after campaigns.
