Job summary

Locus Fermentation Solutions is seeking a Production Supervisor in Peoria, IL for a 24/7 operation. The role leads fermentation and downstream manufacturing, directs staff, and ensures safety, quality, and timely production of products.

You will coordinate with multiple teams to maintain process reliability and continuous improvement. The position requires a 4+ year track record in manufacturing leadership, a technical degree, and willingness to work nonstandard hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field related to manufacturing.
• 4+ years in manufacturing, industrial operations, or maintenance with shift leadership.
• Experience in fermentation/biotech or process-driven environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fermentation and downstream operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Coordinate staffing, train personnel, and ensure proper documentation and shift handoffs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, improve yield, and reduce downtime.
