Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking a Laboratory Technician I in Bainbridge, GA to support fermentation lab operations and ensure readiness. You will handle housekeeping, equipment prep, sterilization, inventory, safety inspections, and assist with R&D experiments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree in a scientific field is preferred. 1–2 years of lab experience and basic computer documentation skills are expected; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree in a scientific field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to learn laboratory equipment operation and obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., wear PPE, and work in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain laboratory workspaces, equipment, and reusable materials.
• Prepare, assemble, label, and sterilize materials used in fermentation experiments.
• Assist with reactor setup, cleaning, teardown, and equipment preparation.
• Receive, stock, organize, and track laboratory supplies and consumables.
• Perform routine safety inspections and support waste disposal procedures.
• Follow GMP, OSHA, EPA, and laboratory safety standards.
