Job summary

Ferman of Countryside LLC is seeking a Detailer to clean, detail, and prep guest and dealership vehicles to meet high-quality appearance standards. You will wash, vacuum, and prepare interiors and exteriors for guest delivery, showroom display, or internal use.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability in a fast-paced dealership environment, and adherence to safety procedures. On-the-job training is provided, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous automotive detailing or car wash experience preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, and detail interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Clean and polish vehicle surfaces, including windows, wheels, and trim.
• Apply wax, protectants, and detailing products as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality before delivery.
• Move vehicles safely within dealership premises.
• Maintain detail area cleanliness and equipment organization.
• Restock supplies and report inventory or equipment issues.
• Identify and report any vehicle damage or concerns.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and use of chemicals/equipment.

Position Summary

The Detailer is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing guests and dealership vehicles to meet high-quality appearance standards. This role supports the service department by ensuring vehicles are properly cleaned, inspected, and ready for guest delivery, showroom display, or internal use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, and detail interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Clean and polish vehicle surfaces, including windows, wheels, and trim.
• Apply wax, protectants, and other detailing products as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and ensure quality standards are met before delivery.
• Remove debris, stickers, and protective materials from vehicles.
• Move and position vehicles safely within dealership property.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail area and equipment.
• Restock supplies and report low inventory or equipment issues.
• Identify and report any visible vehicle damage or concerns.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and proper use of chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with additional service or dealership tasks as assigned.

• Ability to move and operate vehicles as needed.

Work Environment

Work is performed in dealership detail bays, service areas, and outdoor lots with exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditions in a fast-paced setting.
