Job summary

Ferman on Dale Mabry INC is seeking a Service Detailer to clean, detail, and prepare guest and dealership vehicles to meet high appearance standards. This role supports the service department by ensuring vehicles are properly cleaned, inspected, and ready for customer delivery, showroom display, or internal use.

You will wash, vacuum, polish surfaces, apply protective products, and help maintain a safe, organized detail area.

Responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, and detail interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Clean and polish vehicle surfaces, including windows, wheels, and trim.
• Apply wax, protectants, and other detailing products as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and ensure quality standards are met before delivery.
• Remove debris, stickers, and protective materials from vehicles.
• Move and position vehicles safely within dealership property.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail area and equipment.
• Restock supplies and report low inventory or equipment issues.
• Identify and report any visible vehicle damage or concerns.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and proper use of chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with additional service or dealership tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to move and operate vehicles as needed.

Work Environment

Work is performed in dealership detail bays, service areas, and outdoor lots with exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditions in a fast-paced setting.
