Job summary

Stinson LLP seeks an Energy Regulatory Associate Attorney for our Washington, DC office. The candidate should have at least two years of regulatory counseling or litigation experience on FERC matters and familiarity with FERC regulations and procedures.

An active DC license or waiver is required. The role offers a base salary range of $205,000 to $275,000, plus a discretionary merit bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in regulatory counseling or litigation on FERC matters.
• Active license in DC or ability to waive to practice in DC.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with teams of attorneys on litigated or regulatory matters.
• Handle complex factual, legal, and procedural issues.
• Manage e-discovery and factual investigation and development.
• Apply strategic and analytical thinking to resolve complex legal issues.
