Job summary

MRINetwork in Washington, DC is seeking an Energy Regulatory Associate for its national law firm energy practice. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience handling FERC regulatory matters, including regulatory counseling or litigation.

FERC experience is preferred but not required. You will advise clients on FERC matters, draft memoranda and regulatory filings, and work with teams on regulatory proceedings and litigation, focusing on the Federal Power Act and Natural Gas Act.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience handling FERC regulatory matters (counseling or litigation).
• FERC regulation knowledge under the Federal Power Act and Natural Gas Act.
• Active District of Columbia law license or waiver eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on FERC regulatory matters in electric power and natural gas industries.
• Draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other regulatory filings.
