Job summary

Exelon is seeking a mid-level attorney for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) practice area. You will provide full legal services under supervision, perform non-routine assignments, and support agency proceedings and related litigation.

You will work to understand each client’s business, assist with budgets, and leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance research, drafting and analysis while upholding professional judgment.

Qualifications

• JD/LLB from an accredited law school and licensed to practice.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
• Excellent legal research, analytical abilities and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform broad and moderately complex legal assignments in FERC regulations and policies.
• Assist in representing Exelon in agency proceedings and relevant litigation.
• Develop understanding of assigned client’s business and philosophy.
• Prepare budgets and early matter assessments for matters involving outside counsel.
