Job summary

AVANGRID SERVICE COMPANY is seeking a Senior Manager – FERC Compliance to support an award‑winning ethics and compliance program and report to the Chief Compliance Officer of Avangrid Networks. You will provide subject matter expertise, program management, and strategic support to ensure compliance with FERC regulations and related state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in legal, audit, or other compliance‑related field of study and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with best practices for compliance and ethics programs under the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines and related legal frameworks.
• Strong IT and business tool literacy including SAP, GRC Archer, Workday; MS Project and PowerBI.
• Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve a FERC compliance program designed to prevent noncompliance and meet internal requirements.
• Maintain, revise, and update program documentation, including policies and controls.
• Develop and implement elements of an effective regulatory compliance program, including risk assessments, auditing, training, and investigations.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Avangrid’s FERC compliance activities (standards of conduct, enforcement, data requests).
• Undertake compliance‑related strategic initiatives and manage related projects.
• Monitor changes in best practices and promote a culture of ethics and compliance.
