Sunbelt Rentals in Escondido, CA is hiring a Fence Installer 1 to join a dynamic team of industry specialists. You will prepare jobsites, install fences per spec, and maintain a professional, safety-focused demeanor while meeting deadlines outside in varying weather.

The role involves handling heavy fence panels (50–80 lbs), completing operational paperwork, and working with hand and power tools. Training is provided and benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Own safety role for yourself, and other team members.
• Safely set up and take down fence and associated products at customer sites.
• Complete operational paperwork (JHA’s reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists).
• Take direction from Lead Fence Technician/Operations Manager.
• Assist in navigating to sites for safe and expedient arrivals.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and professional appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.

You will take directions to help prepare jobsites and use hand and power tools to prepare, remove and install all types of fences per spec requirements. As a field employee you are the face of the company and we rely on you to maintain a sense of professionalism and focus on customer service, even while under pressure to meet tight deadlines and strict security requirements. This is a physically demanding job that is mostly working outside in various weather conditions.
