Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Fence Technician responsible for the safe transport, installation, and removal of temporary fencing at customer job sites. You will operate vehicles, follow safety standards, and support onboarding and training of new team members.

The role emphasizes maintaining a strong customer focus, ensuring timely, high-quality service, and coordinating with Fence Helpers to meet job specifications. Compliance with safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• CDL Class C license is required.
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of tools and ensure safety.
• Verify loads contain necessary materials and tools.
• Perform daily pre-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Operate fence vehicle to designated work sites.
• Install fence panels and measure/mark locations as required.
• Coordinate workload with Fence Helper and monitor progress.
• Confirm work orders with site superintendent and maintain communication with supervisor.
• Record operational data and submit end of shift reports.
• Train Fence Helpers on installation procedures and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
