Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing equipment with a focus on safety and customer service. You will operate a fencing truck, perform inspections, and coordinate with teammates to ensure projects meet customer specifications.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid license with clean record, and 1 year of truck driving experience; CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL preferred.
• 1 year truck driving experience; DOT medical card before starting.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely around utilities and follow safety protocols.
• Forklift training provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing safely and timely.
• Operate fencing truck and ensure load is secure.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections on vehicle and tools.
• Coordinate with Fence Installation Associate and review projects with customers.
• Prepare job site and set poles/install fence per specifications.
• Provide onsite moves and delivery/pickup of fencing as required.
• Train others on safety and installation techniques.
