Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing equipment while providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with dispatch, meet customer needs, and maintain safety standards on every job site.

The role requires a valid license, clean driving record, and at least one year of truck driving experience; CDL is preferred. A DOT medical card is needed prior to employment, with possible forklift duties and weekend

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1 year of truck driving experience; CDL preferred.
• DOT medical card required before start.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Safety-focused with the ability to follow procedures.
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing equipment.
• Safely operate fencing trucks and ensure load securement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Inspect tools for safe operation and proper use.
• Prepare job sites and coordinate fence installation with customers.
• Train and supervise Fence Installation Associate on safety and techniques.
• Provide on-site moves and equipment deliveries as requested.
