Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is seeking a friendly Spa attendant to support daily spa operations, restock supplies, maintain locker rooms and treatment areas, and assist therapists with basic prep and beverage service.

You will engage guests with polite, timely service, uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and collaborate with team members to create a welcoming spa experience in a fast-paced environment. This role requires physical stamina and a neat appearance.

Qualifications

• Legal to work in the United States is required.
• High school or equivalent education required.
• Preferred: 1-2 years as housekeeping or spa attendant.
• Current Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment including stocking of supplies, folding towels / sheets, cleaning lockers, sanitizing tables, guest items, implementation tools.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of beverage stations and appropriate supplies.
• Execute fabulous guest service.
• Assist therapist with basic treatment preparation or tools and supplies and maintain prep area.
• Restock locker room amenities and maintain stock of towels, sheets, etc.
• Maintain back of house supplies and areas in compliance with sanitation standards.

Job description

Support the Spa operation of the outlet through timely restocking and cleaning of lockers / treatment rooms, engage in polite, responsive, and timely interaction with guests and coworkers including basic treatment menu, in addition to other responsibilities as directed by supervisor while maintaining a positive attitude that contributes to the team environment.

Requirements

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties) Including but not limited to:

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment including stocking of supplies, folding towels / sheets, cleaning lockers, sanitizing tables, guest items, implementation tools etc.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of beverage stations and appropriate supplies
• Execute fabulous guest service
• Assist therapist with basic treatment preparation or tools and supplies and maintain prep area
• Prepare basic, non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, water, iced tea, etc.
• Restock locker room amenities, clean/ clear used supplies, maintain stock of towels, sheets, etc.
• Maintain back of house supplies and areas in compliance with both city and state sanitation standards
• Other duties assigned by management

• Comply with all safety and health department procedures, as well as all state and federal laws
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per hotel standards
• Adhere to hotel policies including but not limited to attendance, safety, behavior

MUST HAVE'S

• Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in The United States
• High school or equivalent education required
• Preferred: 1-2 years as housekeeping or spa attendant
• Current Food Handlers Card

THE WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work in an environment that is subject to varying noise levels, the severity of which depends upon work volume
• Effectively and efficiently move from floor to floor as needed
• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction, work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT fatigue, noise, dust, and pet dander/hair
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and maintain physical stamina and mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods
• Bend, squat and stretch in areas of limited space to perform cleaning, organization, and other duties
