Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent. Domestic travel is required.
2. 5 years of in-field experience (2 years of in-field experience with a bachelor’s degree).

Responsibilities:

1. Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments including audits for completeness, reviews information gathered during the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA), and completes exploratory calls to gather information from applicants.
2. Supports communication with the applicant about their status by scheduling regular meetings, tracking FEMA’s requests, coordinating transmittal of documents through FEMA’s Consolidated Resource Centers, and scheduling site inspections.
3. Supports the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs with the applicant, participating in regular FEMA meetings, and assisting with the development of the Determination Memo.
4. May coordinate and complete basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate and record damage.

Amount of Travel Required: 100%

Assignment Category: Fulltime-Temporary

Pay Range: $27.30 - $48.30
