The Licking County Prosecutor’s Office in Newark, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney to join the Felony Division. The role involves handling felony cases, working with law enforcement and community partners, and upholding justice ethically and compassionately.

Candidates must be admitted to the Ohio bar and possess strong trial, research, and writing skills. A four-day work week is offered with competitive benefits.

Competenze

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.
• Jury trial experience in felony/prosecution.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Westlaw, and Windows-based programs.

Mansioni

• Manage the felony division caseload, including evaluation, charging decisions, trial preparation, and courtroom trials.
• Assist law enforcement with warrants and case development.
