The Delaware County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is seeking a Felony Prosecutor to join a team dedicated to protecting the community, collaborating, pursuing justice, and providing thoughtful, effective representation of the State of Ohio.
This is an opportunity for an Ohio-licensed attorney to take meaningful ownership of complex felony cases from indictment through trial and post-conviction proceedings. You will develop cases, work closely with law enforcement, advocate for victims and witnesses, litigate motions, conduct trials, handle sentencings, and post-conviction matters
As a Felony Prosecutor, in the fastest growing county in Ohio, your work goes far beyond paperwork and integrity is key. You will be in the courtroom, making decisions, advocating for people, fighting for victims and handling cases that matter to the community. The position offers substantial hands‑on litigation experience, exposure to every stage of the criminal process, and the opportunity to develop as a trial attorney and legal professional with leaders who have a combined nearly 50 years of experience.
The ideal candidate brings trial experience, strong knowledge of Ohio criminal law and procedure, excellent research and writing skills, sound judgment, integrity, resilience, and the ability to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds.
