Job summary

City of Hope seeks a fellowship-trained Supportive Medicine physician to join the Division of Supportive Medicine at the South Pasadena site, with inpatient coverage at Duarte. The role emphasizes ambulatory and telemedicine care, collaboration with cancer specialists, and building a new ambulatory program within the clinical network.

The position offers a 5-day work week with outpatient and inpatient components, generous benefits, and relocation support as applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years postgraduate experience in outpatient/inpatient palliative care for cancer patients.
• Strong collaboration across oncology, hematology, radiation and surgical teams.
• Academic record consistent with appointment at a U.S. ACGME program is a plus but not required.
• Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and CA medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient palliative care to cancer patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to develop care plans.
• Participate in telehealth and ambulatory program development at clinical sites.
• Cover inpatient and weekend shift requirements as assigned.
