Job summary

A leading Orthopaedic practice in Pennsylvania is seeking a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Hand, Shoulder, and Upper Extremity Surgeon to join their team. This role involves consulting with patients, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery required.
• Board certified/eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery needed.
• Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania state medical license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations to assess their medical history and current condition.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for Orthopaedic patients, including surgical and non-surgical options.
• Perform Orthopaedic surgical procedures on the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a private practice team environment

Education

Medical degree from an accredited institution

Completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery residency program

Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery

Orthopaedic Fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery

Valid medical license with the ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license
