Metropolitan Hospital accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. Opportunity Details
  • High volume built out advance endoscopy unit – looking to build a team and train the next generation of gastroenterologists with a lot of opportunity to grow.
  • 5 procedure rooms all supported bynear 100% anesthesia support. There are 2 of the 5 rooms with general anesthesia capability and one with fluoroscopy for ERCP.
  • Provide direct patient care, including dedicated clinic sessions, OR Block time, and supervision of resident program panels.
  • Perform Endoscopic Ultrasound procedures.
  • Educate, supervise, and mentor fellows.
  • Mentor and advise residents, medical students, mid-level providers and junior members of the medical staff.
  • Participates in medical educational meetings to improve and provide continuous quality care to our patients.
  • Participate in call coverage for the Gastroenterology service.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $503,589* based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $649,468 ** , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
    • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
  • Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
  • Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
