Job summary

Cat Care Clinic of Naples is a feline-exclusive veterinary hospital in Naples, Florida, devoted to Fear Free, cat-centered care. We’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support doctors and technicians in a calm, cat-friendly environment without emergencies or on-call duties.

You will assist during exams, dentals, surgeries, and diagnostics, restrain cats, draw blood, take radiographs, and help maintain a clean, welcoming clinic. A passion for cats and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Fear Free familiarity, or willingness to become certified within 90 days.
• Comfort with restraint, blood draws, radiographs, and clinical assisting.
• Excellent communication with clients and with the team.

Responsibilities

• Restrain and handle feline patients using Fear Free techniques.
• Assist doctors and technicians during exams, dentals, and surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients and rooms for appointments, procedures, and diagnostics.
• Perform blood draws, obtain samples, and assist with lab work.
• Take and position radiographs.
• Run tech-only tasks including Solensia injections, nail trims, SubQ fluids, and chronic care visits.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Communicate clearly with clients and the team.
