Job summary

Fehrer Automotive, NA LLC in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Production Operator to safely control foam-production machinery and support mold cleaning and inspection processes.

You will follow work instructions, identify quality issues, and communicate with line operators and supervisors while maintaining OSHA compliance and safe handling of materials. The role is at a single-site facility with steady shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; English reading/comprehension required.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications.
• Able to safely operate production equipment and use cleaning tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor foam production equipment and molds.
• Identify and report nonconforming material and quality issues.
• Assist with mold cleaning, release agents, and part removal.
• Follow procedures and OSHA/environmental guidelines at all times.
