Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and 1–2 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Database software.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees on a limited basis and assists in hiring and training.
• Performs department duties across cattle, feed, mill, and yard areas for management preparation.
• Complies with OSHA, FDA, and EPA regulations; maintains compliance records.
• Models safe work practices and conducts regular safety trainings.
• Assists in budgeting and inventory management within the department.
• Maintains thorough records of withdrawals and animal handling protocols.
