Job summary

Adams Land & Cattle in Broken Bow, NE, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our feedlot infrastructure and water systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fences, facilities, and equipment, weld as needed, and safely operate machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work with a team across multiple locations, with the stamina to lift heavy loads and adapt to adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required.
• Maintenance of feedlot infrastructure and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as a priority and support safety program.
• Maintain feedlot infrastructure for safe, clean operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fences, uprights, neck rails, bunk cables, and facilities.
• Maintain and repair water tanks and main lines; weld as needed.
• Operate equipment (skid steer, forklift, tractor, backhoe, mini excavator).
• Keep work areas and equipment organized; support machine shop and projects.
