Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center in Lexington, NE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform ongoing and preventative maintenance of the Feed Mill. The role is full-time, reporting to the Location Manager and supporting the Project Manager as needed.

Responsibilities include mechanical repair, preventative maintenance, developing schedules, troubleshooting, inventory management, safety adherence, and assisting production to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Mechanical repair and maintenance skills.
• Proficient in welding and some fabrication experience.
• Ability to manage spare parts inventory and spending effectively.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Safety skills.
• Ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical repair of the Feed Mill(s).
• Preventative maintenance.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for ongoing maintenance.
• Perform troubleshooting to solve repair issues.
• Maintain spare parts inventory.
• Communicate and identify needs and plans for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Assist with any and all production needs.
