Sofidel America of Inola is currently seeking a Pulp Feeding Operator in Paper Mill Dept. We are searching for a candidate who is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!
SCHEDULE 2-2-3, Rotating, 12 Hour Shifts, 6 to 6
SCOPE
Perform functions, assisting the Paper Machine Leader and Shift Supervisor, to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operation of the paper mill and identify and resolve operating and equipment issues guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policies. Continuously supports Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the plant and warehouse areas. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the plant/warehouse can range a great deal from season to season. The employee will be exposed to paper dust and employees will also be exposed to noise levels that will require hearing protection.
