Job summary

ADM Milling is seeking a Merchandiser for Feed Products in Decatur, IL. This full-time role reports to the Commercial Manager of Wheat Midds and focuses on merchandising and position management across ADM mills in North America.

The candidate will develop and execute a sales strategy for Wheat Midds, working with internal teams and customers to optimize pricing, logistics, and revenue generation. A Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business and 3 years in related sales or merchandising are

Qualifications

• 3 years Animal Agriculture Sales Experience or Merchandising Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business
• Demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of domestic trade and freight spreads/arbitrage
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with end-users and internal customers
• Proven ability to work in a team and fast-paced environment
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, word processing in Windows

Responsibilities

• Aggressively seek new business to expand customer base for direct Wheat Midds sales
• Execute the sales strategy for multiple wheat mills
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Price discovery for Wheat Midds and arbitrage opportunities
• Coordinate with Milling and Co-Product Teams and logistics
• Manage accounts receivable and order entry issues
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and safety programs
• Prepare daily and ad hoc reports
