Job summary

Kalmbach Feeds Inc. is hiring for a production/warehouse role in Shippensburg, PA. You will operate the bagging system, load products for delivery, and monitor quality and packaging while maintaining accurate records.

A forklift experience is preferred and a 50-pound lifting requirement applies. Second or third shift with overtime and weekends is required. Kalmbach Feeds offers medical, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and three weeks of paid time off in the first year.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Production or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be available for second or third shift, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging operation system to inspect label, bag, and stack feed products.
• Load bagged feed onto delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
• Inspect and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging.
• Operate and maintain tow motors, pallet jacks, bagging system, and warehouse racks.
• Maintain accurate daily records of bag ingredients, production material delivery, inventory, and loading.
• Keep work areas clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Perform other feed production duties as needed.
