Job summary

Kalmbach Feeds in Shippensburg, PA seeks a Warehouse/Bagging Operator to run the bagging line, inspect labels, weigh and package feed products, and load bags onto trucks. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and operating tow motors and pallet jacks.

Ideal candidates bring problem-solving and basic math skills; production experience is a plus. OT, weekends, and second/third shifts may be required. Kalmbach offers comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Problem solving ability and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consecutive basis.
• Experience in production/manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging line to inspect label, bag and stack feed products.
• Load bagged feed onto delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
• Inspect and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging.
• Operate and maintain tow motors, pallet jacks, bagging system and warehouse racks.
• Maintain daily records for bag ingredients, production materials, deliveries, inventory and loading.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Perform other bag production related duties as needed.
