Job summary

Kalmbach Feeds Inc. is hiring a Feed Mill Production Team Member for the 2nd shift in Breckenridge, MI. You will operate bagging lines, inspect packaging, and load feed onto trucks or customer vehicles.

Successful candidates will have problem solving and math skills, be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, and have forklift experience preferred. Weekend availability and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess problem solving and basic math skills.
• Production or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly is required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging operation system to inspect label, bag, and stack feed products.
• Load bagged feed onto delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
• Inspect and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging.
• Operate and maintain tow motors, pallet jacks, bagging system, and warehouse racks.
• Maintain accurate daily records of bag ingredients, production materials, inventory and deliveries.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Perform other feed production duties as needed.
