Job summary

Daybreak Foods is seeking a dependable individual to support daily feed mill operations. The role involves mixing and loading poultry feed, maintaining safe food and safe feed practices, and assisting with inventory and equipment upkeep.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong teamwork and communication skills, and basic mathematical ability. Experience in a feed mill or agricultural setting is preferred, with PPE and safety protocols emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Agricultural experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in a feed mill is preferred.
• Training in preventative maintenance programs, mechanical and electrical systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and loading poultry feed for delivery to multiple farm locations.
• Apply knowledge of SQF and Safe Food/Safe Feed practices during all mill activities.
• Receiving and maintenance of ingredient inventories.
• Preventative maintenance and repair of mill and related equipment.
• Maintaining a clean safe Mill environment.
• Provide back-up support to Mill Manager as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
