Job summary

Paycom - ATS Sauk City Feed and Grain is seeking a full-time, day shift general laborer to operate feed manufacturing equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. You will perform routine tasks, document production, and help ensure accurate ingredient handling and load-out.

Responsibilities include maintaining production logs in Excel, assisting with scheduling and inventory for ingredients and finished products, and providing reliable, customer-focused service within a team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous feed mill experience preferred.
• Agriculture/farm background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Record and document all feed produced during shift.
• Maintain production and FDA records in Excel.
• Mix and prepare livestock feeds accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with production scheduling and inventory planning.
• Determine routing and distribution for feeds to holding bins.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with managers, coworkers, and customers.
• Maintain a professional image and provide good customer service.
• Perform other duties around the facility as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: Sauk City Feed and Grain - Sauk City, WI 53583, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day, Responsible for performing routine tasks related to the feed production including quality control, ingredient and feed processing, manufacturing and load out, ingredient receiving and storage, equipment maintenance and housekeeping. A qualified individual must possess a strong work ethic, be customer-focused, hardworking and have the desire to work as a team member.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform necessary sequencing, recording and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift.
• Maintain accurate production and FDA records, entering data into an Excel spreadsheet.
• Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that ensures accuracy and high quality.
• Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning, and control for both ingredients and finished products.
• Determine proper routing and distribution for manufactured feeds to appropriate holding bins.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
• Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Observe and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicate with managers, co-workers and customers.
• Maintain a professional image and provide superior customer service.
• Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, & climb frequently.
• Ability to work in dusty conditions and all weather conditions with the required PPE to do so.
