Job summary

Schwartz Farms, Inc. in Leigh, NE is seeking a Feed Mill Technician to help power swine nutrition by ensuring feed manufacturing is accurate, safe and on schedule. You will monitor production plans, maintain records, and support biosecurity measures.

The role requires experience in feed manufacturing or grain handling, basic mechanical understanding, and reliable multitasking with good interpersonal skills. Competitive benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience or demonstrated ability in feed manufacturing and/or grain handling.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and ability to perform minor maintenance.
• Adaptable multitasker with professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using electronic reports and has a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Mix feed rations to established schedules and standards.
• Support timely, bio-secure manufacturing and delivery processes.
• Enforce biosecurity protocols and document mill records as directed.
• Receive and properly store ingredients/supplies to protect quality.
• Maintain site cleanliness, assist with minor repairs, and follow all safety requirements.
• Where applicable, support grain receiving, drying, storage, and ticketing/communication.
