The Equity, headquartered in Effingham, Illinois, is seeking a Feed Mill Production/Operations Technician for 2nd shift to support safe, efficient production of quality feed products. You will operate equipment, manage inventories, uphold GMPs, and provide excellent customer service to customers and staff.
Reporting to the Feed Mill Manager, the role involves handling materials, ensuring safety, and maintaining the mill while communicating professionally with team members.
The Feed Mill Production & Operations Technician supports the safe and efficient production of quality feed products. This individual is responsible for operating feed mill equipment, maintaining ingredient inventories, upholding quality and safety standards, and ensuring the facility remains clean and well maintained. They also provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
Feed Mill Manager
$23-$32 per hour
2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11:30 pm
The nature of the business may require extended hours. While performing the duties of the job, the employee occasionally works outside near moving mechanical equipment and may work in high, precarious places with exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. Noise level in work area is usually loud.
The physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
The employee may be required to travel to other locations, conferences, educational opportunities and other job-related activities.
