Job description

This position involves receiving, inspecting, and processing ingredients to produce high-quality feed. The operator will load feed tankers for delivery to farms and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive bagged, dry bulk, liquid, and pneumatic ingredients.
• Operate forklift to unload ingredients into proper storage.
• Conduct inventory analysis for FIFO process.
• Maintain cleanliness of ingredient and feed areas per OSHA standards.
• Sample dry, liquid, and pneumatic ingredients.
• Operate ingredient trucks and feed mill equipment for receiving and load out.
• Operate feed batching, grinding, pelleting, and liquid application equipment.
• Monitor pellet throughput and quality.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Use proper safety equipment, including hardhat, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
