Job summary

CHS Inc. in Tracy, MN is hiring a Feed Mill Operations Associate to help produce high-quality livestock feed. You will learn equipment operations, assist with production tasks, and help keep the facility running safely and efficiently.

Training is provided on the job, with shifts ranging from 1st to 3rd and opportunities for forklift certification. Great for individuals seeking hands-on work in a fast-paced environment; prior feed mill experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operations, production, manufacturing and/or agriculture environments.
• Minimum age requirement.
• Pre-employment screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate feed mill equipment (grinders, mixers, and batching systems) to support livestock feed production.
• Assist with receiving and handling feed ingredients, including helping load and unload trucks.
• Support the loadout process by opening hatches, connecting hoses, taking samples, and checking product accuracy.
• Help monitor batching and scaling systems to ensure quality and consistency in finished feed.
• Perform basic equipment checks, cleaning, and routine maintenance; report any issues to the team.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping and spill cleanup.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines while working with the team to meet daily production goals.
