PIPESTONE in Hopkinton, IA is seeking a dedicated Feed Mill Operator to run the mill, grind and produce complete feed, and help maintain smooth daily operations. The role involves loading trucks, weighing ingredients, and ensuring accurate production paperwork.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and basic computer skills, with preferences for experience in feed or related manufacturing. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

• Experience in feed, grain handling, manufacturing, or automation preferred.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office/Outlook.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Grind and manufacture complete feed.
• Load feed trucks and unload ingredient deliveries.
• Refill micro tables and weigh hand-add ingredients.
• Monitor grain quality and storage conditions.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Support mill efficiency and daily operations.
• Perform facility upkeep and other projects as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Grind and manufacture complete feed
• Load feed trucks and unload ingredient deliveries
• Refill micro tables and weigh hand-add ingredients
• Monitor grain quality and storage conditions
• Complete production paperwork accurately
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs
• Support mill efficiency and daily operations

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Feed, grain handling, manufacturing, or automation experience preferred
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office & Outlook
• Experience with mill batching software is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance as needed
• Standing and walking 8-10 hours per day
• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and kneeling
