Job summary

House Of Raeford Farms Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to provide general and preventive maintenance in a poultry production environment. You will troubleshoot equipment, maintain PM records, and work with a team to minimize downtime across electrical and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, fluent English, and a background in safety standards such as Lockout/Tagout and OSHA protocols. Occasional on-call weekends may be required.

Qualifications

2+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English fluently.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, OSHA protocols and safety rules.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and modify manufacturing equipment to fix issues.
Maintain accurate daily records in the maintenance system.
Perform preventative maintenance on poultry production structures and equipment.
Keep work area/tools clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
Install and maintain work with electrical and mechanical systems using shop tools.
Develop plans to minimize downtime in key areas and handle multiple tasks.
Communicate with shifts, peers, production personnel, and management.
On-call weekend work may be required.
