Job summary

Pilgrim’s Arcadia, WI Complex is seeking a Line Operator to ensure safe, efficient operation of the production line. You will monitor equipment, perform start-ups and changeovers, and maintain area cleanliness while supporting team members and training as needed.

Typical schedule is Sunday–Thursday with occasional Friday, 6:00 am start times. Base pay is $23.28/hour with a $1.50/hour shift differential, plus benefits after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions in English for record keeping.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle problems with a few concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Monitors equipment and maintains quality and productivity while minimizing rework and downtime.
• Prepares work area for start-up, changeover, and shut down, selecting appropriate programs.
• Maintains records and conducts periodic checks as directed.
• Provides supplies needed for operation (film, packaging, PPE).
• Communicates with team members and maintenance when needed.
• Assists on line and with training or rework as required.
• Completes basic PM checklist on equipment.
• Assists with other line equipment and break coverage.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
