Job summary

Circle S Ranch, Inc. seeks an Assistant Control Room Operator for the Feed Mill in Richburg, SC. You will operate and monitor computerized feed-control systems to ensure safe, accurate production and handle batch data, weights, and ingredient flow.

Shifts are second and third, with 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., plus potential overtime. A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required; experience in production-control environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn automated production-control systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of batching, blending, mixing, or related processes.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures, verify production information, and maintain records.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work the assigned shift and additional hours as production needs require.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized feed-control systems according to approved formulas and production schedules.
• Monitor flow, batching, mixing, and pelleting for accuracy and efficiency.
• Start, stop, and adjust equipment remotely via control modules and software.
• Verify system settings and production parameters during runs.
• Record and review batch data including weights, ingredient usage, and production totals.
