Job summary

A leading energy solutions provider in Houston is seeking a detailed-oriented electrical engineer to support their proposal team. The ideal candidate will have 8 - 10 years of experience and will assist with front-end engineering and design for microgrid systems. Responsibilities include developing project electrical scopes, coordinating design activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and various benefits, including medical insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 8 - 10 years of combined experience in Electrical and Project Engineering.
• Good theoretical background of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical power distribution.
• Ability to effectively manage time and complete projects on a timely basis.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating design and engineering development activities.
• Developing project’s electrical scope and basis of design documents.
• Supporting the preparation of conceptual layouts and preliminary equipment sizing.
