Job summary
A leading energy solutions provider in Houston is seeking a detailed-oriented electrical engineer to support their proposal team. The ideal candidate will have 8 - 10 years of experience and will assist with front-end engineering and design for microgrid systems. Responsibilities include developing project electrical scopes, coordinating design activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and various benefits, including medical insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.
Qualifications
8 - 10 years of combined experience in Electrical and Project Engineering.
Good theoretical background of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical power distribution.
Ability to effectively manage time and complete projects on a timely basis.
Responsibilities
Leading and coordinating design and engineering development activities.
Developing project’s electrical scope and basis of design documents.
Supporting the preparation of conceptual layouts and preliminary equipment sizing.
